Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatment

IPL delivers controlled pulses of light into the skin that target excess pigment and visible blood vessels. Pigmented spots typically darken temporarily after treatment before flaking or fading, while redness and blood vessels become less noticeable as the skin heals.

While improvement may be noticeable after one treatment, a series of treatments is often recommended for optical correction of sun damage, pigmentation, and redness. Your treatment plan will be customized based on your skin type, concerns, and goals.

Depending on the areas you’re treating, IPL therapy sessions can be as quick as 30 minutes. There’s also minimal recovery time, ranging from a few hours to a day, from mild redness and swelling.
